About Baptism

Have you made the decision to trust Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? If so, baptism is your next step of obedience to God. We demonstrate a beginning of a changed life and we declare our commitment to Jesus publicly!

Jesus Himself was baptized– and the Bible commands Christ-followers to follow His example.

When Christians are baptized, they are submerged under water to identify with the death and burial of Jesus and coming out of the water to identify with His resurrection. We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. Romans 6:4 NIV

We believe that water baptism is a public declaration of four important things: you are a follower of Jesus Christ, you celebrate your new life, you are part of a new family, and you are a witness for Jesus.
